How early in life can we apply this test/sterilization? Considering 12 year olds are getting themselves knocked up nowadays, Possibly the sooner the better. It would also help DRASTICALLY reduce the cost of "free handouts" we give to those who earn a paycheck from the government by making "childbirth" a form of a career... and starting this career at the age of 12.

The school that I teach at we have at least one girl in each grade that is expecting - 6th, 7th, and 8th grade

I don't know if this has ever been posted on this site, but when I read this article on CNN for the first time last month, I officially lost hope in the youth of America. (Although the constant texting and celebrity worship already had me leaning that way...what does it mean to the world when you find your life so boring you have to live bicariously through someone who has contributed virtually NOTHING to society in the grand scheme of things...)

I can see now why some parents prefer to home school their kids or enroll them at private schools after reading that. I have a feeling that one day when I have kids that I'm going to be 1 unpopular dad. The latest example I've seen was I was at the I-Cubs last Wednesday and it was school day at the park so kids all over the park. Bet there were some Jr. High kids (could be younger or older anymore, I can't tell kids ages well anymore) sitting around of us. I bet nearly every one of them had a cell phone and was talking on it more than they were watching the game. I didn't get my 1st cell phone until I was a sophomore in college and that was with my own money. I might let my kids have 1 once they start driving and limit the minutes on them but no way are my kids going to have a phone before they are 16. It's nuts that you see elementary kids with them now too.

That's just 1 of many things I see wrong with kids today, I won't go into more detail because it would turn into a very lengthy post but being raised where nothing was handed to you without earning it through hard work and good behavior I already know that I'm not going to be a very popular dad compared to what a lot of parent's are letting their kids do or don't know what their kids do because they are too busy. I didn't like it when I was a kid but once you grow up and get on your own you appreciate that mom and dad weren't the cool parents and were doing the right things so you wouldn't become one of these spoiled or messed up kids.
