This is a recruit on the rivals front page that we are going after. There uniforms are red and yellow like ours. The difference is these uni's stand out big time. I like them. By the way our uniforms are not Cardinal and gold.

The thing that stands out most to me is how overrated Chicago Public League players are. I've lived in the city of Chicago for a long time, and year after year these guys who put up gaudy numbers in an extremely weak conference. Typically you see these guys get 4 or 5 stars because they look like absolute monsters among their competition.

Chicago Public School teams typically have many good athletes, but not good football players. Many who get heavily recruited will never crack the starting lineup.

Juice Williams from Illinois might be the exception. But other than that, not many will have much success. Now, since this kid is a wide receiver, I think there is a way to bring him along and turn him into a successful college player. But if these kids can't even compete with the decent Catholic League teams, college is going to be a rude awakening for them and their new coaches.
