Apparently Bennett and another player are leaving, and they are adding two JUCO's. Check out this little bit on one of them:

As for the incoming players, Martin said Samuels is a “relentless rebounder.” Gilbert, who was acquitted by a South Dakota jury in 2006 on two counts of second-degree rape and one count of burglary after a female South Dakota State student accused him and another man of sexual assault, can play multiple positions, Martin said.

I don't care what people say, that Frank Martin is all class.

I've said this before and I'll say it again...Bob Huggins was the worst thing that could have happened for K-State. Whatever credibility that program had before he got there is long gone now.

Dubovitsky who recently committed to KSU does not appear to be coming to KSU either. His grades are terrible and he has no real chance of qualifying academically.

I'm going to be really curious to see how recruiting continues under Martin. Doesn't look good so far.

It says he was acquitted by a jury. That means not guilty. You would punish him anyway?

I was thinking the same thing. "blah, blah, acquitted of sodomy and unnatural acts with a blah, blah, blah, but has a sweet jump shot!"

No. But it would definitely make me question the guys character in general. I would want to know everything about him. Has he been accused or convicted of any other crimes? What were the circumstances that even got him accused of the crimes of which he was acquitted? If anything looked fishy, I wouldn't give him a scholly. But, hey, thats just me.

Rightly so, but do we have any of that information? All we know is the was acquitted by a jury.

I'm just marveling at the extent some of you will make assumptions to degrade other programs and players. Are you the same fans who welcomed Berryman back after he was convicted? This guy wasn't even guilty.

No, didn't welcome Berryman back. And I wasn't using it to rip the player, because as you said, he was aquitted. I just think any respectable coach and program wouldn't persue a kid with that kind of past. I wouldn't want McD to recruit anybody with that history.

Frankly, as others have pointed out, I just thought the wording was hilarious.

Why do you care that people are making fun of Kansas State? We do it with Iowa all the time. The wording of the article is what is being commented about. The nonchalance and essentially the dismissmal (or aquittal if you will) of the statements of the rape/sexual assault followed by "he can play multiple positions!" is pretty funny.
