The pace we have set we will end up with over 50 million total. CRAZY!
Just keep voting, let someone else do the math. This only lasts a week.

We just need to vote...and vote often. To beat Wyoming, they needed just over 1 million votes. We have over 250,000 votes and we aren't even a day into this yet. Keep up this pace and we can do it!

Which Wyoming board did someone link a while back? Someone should post a message recruiting Wyoming fans to vote for us.

Here's something that'll get a couple of laughs -

Why are there so many idiotic Spartans?

Because Spartans would never use a Trojan...

Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice?
Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.

Re: Mascot Challenge -- ISU vs. Michigan St.

I have to go to a soccer game, but an update-

MSU has woke up in the last 30 minutes!

75,000 votes in total in the last hour, 40K for us and 35K for them, so while the % is dropping our vote lead is still growing but at a slower rate than earlier this morning.

Good job by the morning crew!

As the first mayor Daley used to say- "vote early and vote often!"

We just lost about 3 percentage points in the last hour. How is that even possible?

Re: Mascot Challenge -- ISU vs. Michigan St.

chadm is right. even though the % are getting narrow our total vote lead has increased. lets say if there is 7 million votes and we get 60% of those we will have a 1.4 million vote lead. Percent wise the gap looks close but number wise is a huge spread.

the percentage is going to go down over the week as more votes are posted, but as long as we keep expanding the overall gap of votes it'll make it almost impossible for them to catch us.
Like I said in an earlier post, the % is going to down as the sheer number of posts go up. I guess the smaller numbers didn't sink in, so I'll use larger ones. We had a 90%-10% lead early on. For us to have maintained that kind of a percentage lead on MSU after a million votes we would have to be winning 900,000 - 100,000. With MSU, that's highly unlikely. However, as we near the one million vote mark, I think you'll probably see our lead slip to the neighborhood of 60%-40%. While some of you might be ready to hit the panic button at that point, there really is no need, because with that the count would be 600,000 - 400,000, giving us a 200,000 vote lead. That's a pretty significant lead, and even with all of the cheater programs that MSU's using, that'll be difficult to overcome...
