"Ace" Bowen

Saw Ace out on Welch tonight, and asked him a few questions about football. I first asked him how he liked Chizik to which he responded, "Man the dude is no bullsh#t ALL the time." I said well you have to respect him for that and he responded, "Everyone on the football team respects him man."

I then asked him about some of the new guys. He said both Chris Weir and Allen Bell are the real deal. He said that Bell is one of the "quickest" guys he has ever seen in pads.

He said the defense this year is gonna be a bright spot and he has high hopes for the offense as well.

I also asked him about training and he said it was the hardest thing he had ever experienced in his life. I asked him if it was hard on him and he said, "not really, it just makes us want it more this season."

SOUNDS GOOD TO ME!!!!!

You were out on Welch tonight, and you didn't come back sloshed? For shame!

That's cool to hear though, glad to hear a teammate's perspective on the new coaching change that hasn't been run through the media filter.
