Sounds like he will be an important role for the Seahawks this season.
"Wallace is a playmaker; maybe, next to Shaun Alexander, the most dangerous offensive weapon the Seahawks have."
I like that sentence...a lot.
"Wallace is a good enough athlete to compete in pickup basketball games with Jason Terry, Brandon Roy, Jamal Crawford and Reggie Evans."
This one really doesnt surprise me. He probably makes reggie evans look like a 4th grader.
The article was great and I hope Seneca can see the field more this year. I really think he could be starting on most other teams, but no matter what position he plays, i wish him the best of luck.
Thank you for the link. That is a great read!!
That's an awesome article about Seneca. In the article where it talks about him holding his own in a basketball pickup game, why is Reggie Evans name one of the three. Or is this a different Reggie than the EIU native who is known more for grabbing the "junk" of the guy he is trying to defend in basketball.
Otherwise, it's great to read articles on Cyclone alums who are continuing to make us proud.....
Good find :) :)
Great read on our favorite Cyclone alumn. Seneca says he was always willing to change positions with the Seahawks but didn't he pull an Eric Crouch and resist a position change his rookie year? Unfortunatly he is stuck behind a Joe Montana and may never get his Steve Young moment.

I think what your thinking of is when he refused to work out as a WR in the pre-draft combine. That had an effect on how high he was selected and Seattle was really the only team who was going to give him a legit chance at QB.
A nice article, but Seneca is a Quarterback. He is not the next Randel El. Seneca is a great QB and could easily start on other NFL teams as he is better than quite a few starters. He isn't the 3rd string QB, he's the backup which of course is one step away from being a starter. He needs to see the field, but it needs to be as a QB. He should stay right where he is and he'll get his chance. He certainly isn't going to be cut. Keep those paychecks coming and you don't even have to get hit for it!
I agree with you, Pulse. I hope the Seahawks keep SENECA at QB. He is five years younger than Hasselback so he will eventually get his chance. We all know how good he can be at QB. If they switch him to WR, he may be no better than an average WR... like Randle El.
Get him on the field!!! He could get hurt any place ,anytime. Use him or lose him!!!
I agree that Seneca should only play quarterback. I would be excited to see him play at any position, but what he really needs is to be traded to someone who needs a starter.
In my honest cyclone biased opinion, I honestly believe that if he hasn't buffed up since graduating, he will get the life taken out of him by somebody on the field
