OKC gets '09 basketball and KC gets '10 and '11. They expressly said they don't want to lock basketball into KC and football into Dallas so expect more rotations.
Possibly the biggest news is that the men and women are switching dates for the tournaments with the men playing Wednesday through Saturday and the women Thursday through Sunday beginning in the '08-'09 season. This was at the request of the men's coaches who wanted an extra day of rest before the NCAA tournament. It definitely makes it a little tougher for people to miss three work days instead of two which kind of sucks.
Ugh, I don't like the moving of the mens tourney days. It was always a big deal to get that buy and start the tourney on fri. Ohh well at least KC is represented instead of the south getting everything like usual. Plus there is no Houston in the mix which is a good thing.
They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. - Benjamin Franklin 1775
