AMES, Iowa – Iowa State fans have always been the key component of Hilton Magic. Last season was no different. Cyclone fans responded to the new direction of Iowa State men's basketball under first-year head coach Greg McDermott by helping ISU average 12,489 fans per game during the 2006-07 season. The figure ranked 25th nationally and was the fourth-best total in the Big 12 Conference.
