I was that person and I believe that you and most others really don't look at the uniforms but see the tradition. Those YELLOW uniforms are ugly.
ISU had something similar and they were UGLY. Please list the teams that have cool uniforms who wear a yellow helmet.

That's what I thought. LSU yellow, wow those things are tough looking! LOL
Keep the red helmet and go from there. Hopefully look like USC or Minnesota if they will add yellow.
PS yellow with the current uniform will be the number 1 ugliest uniforms in the nation hands down. There is very little yellow anywhere else.

This is typical from SI. Even though a few of them are pretty butt ugly (Wyoming, Oregon mostly), how are Iowa State, Clemson and ND on the list? All are pretty conservative looking imo. Maybe it's the bright colors for us and Clemson, but I'm not sure.

the worst were the red and yellow tops with all white pants a few years back...we will look very similar this fall with gold pants.

The only picks this writer got right was Syracuse and maybe Wyoming. All of the other uniforms are cool, certainly better than most in college football.
SI only needs to look at the NFL to see what todays marketing is all about. I would guess that this SI writer probably thinks Nebraska, Penn St. and Alabama actually have good looking uniforms. SI-- get out of the '50s.

Oh come on, these red on red unis are as bad as the product on the field last year. We looked like rolls of cherry lifesavers running around. Then the helmets are darker red than the jerseys, whoever dressed the team that way should be fired immediately.........oh yeah.
Seriously when it comes to football unis, simpler is better. The looks over the years other than the simple Walden unis have been pretty bad. I know noone likes the Walden unis, but they were simple. That is the style that I like, personally, just make them the school colors next time.

If you really want to see somebody LOL ask any recruit if they would like to play in an all white uniform with one black stripe on the helmet.
They'll tell you they've already been there-- in the 5th grade.

8th worst uniforms in college football
Did anyone see that SI.com ranked our football uniforms the 8th worst in the country. Oregon was number 1. If I had to pick anyone it would be Wyoming. Nothing like the yellow and brown combo.
