Jon Miller to replace Fales?

Marty and Miller are saying they heard JM will be the new co-host with Murphy on Soundoff Sunday nights. What a disaster that would be! Initially, I thought JM did an OK job with the afternoon radio show, considering he was new at it and could improve. However, the show has regressed, not gotten any better. Now all we hear about is his guitar playing and what Gracie is up to. Not to mention his complete lack of knowledge of sports outside of the Hawks, especially the pros.

If this is true, I'd much rather see Murphy go solo.

His hairy eyebrows cause too much static.

I wouldn't want Jon either, but when they had Keith on later it sounded like the job was still up in the air. Atleast the Roundguy is out of consideration. (thumbs up)

Agree 100%. I wasn't a big fan of Fales, but Miller would be a step backward.

I don't mind Miller as a guy. Seems to be pretty decent. As a host I find him kind of boring to be real. He also tries to give Cyclone news and interview Cyclone guys but it would be like George Bush trying to give a good interview with Osama Bin Laden. He might try but you will be able to tell he don't like who he is talking to.

Andy was awesome; Heather is a good co-host. I would rather see a different co-host each week to give new and different perspectives. I would love to co-host for a night, I have a bunch to rant about, HAHA.

henpecked, dull, boring, churchladyesque, stuck up, goody twoshoe, milquetoast like miller, fales, and murphy? How bout a red blooded blue collar, rural or small town guy whos a little redneck and has a opion instead of the endless parade of cautious college punks.

Jon Miller would be a terrible choice. Outside of the Hawkeyes he's proven to lack the knowledge of what else is going on in sports and has even admited it on his show when he gets a question he can't answer.

I'd rather have Marty before I would Jon, at least Marty gets riled up and knows more about what is going on with sports outside of Iowa. He's annoying and stupid but he'd still be 10 times better than Jon. I like the rotating co-host, heck I think when they have B-Ross it should be fun to watch.

It would be nice to find someone who's not an Iowa or ISU fan, but that could be tough to find. Another reason Jon would be a bad choice is he's already on the airwaves 10 hours a week. It would be nice to get a fresh perspective. I'd take Heather over Jon, atleast I don't know what she's going to say.

I can't stand Marty and Miller.......one of them does it from Boston and has now clue what is going on.

I can't stand MJONES 34 as a moderator, how a Senior in Civil Engineering at ISU can be asked to be a message board moderator is beyond me. If you have nothing to do check some of his previous posts and ask yourself what he's contibuted to this board and how in the world was he ever appointed to anything.
And for the record we sit 3 feet apart in downtown Des Moines from 4-7 everyday.

Marty is back in Iowa for awhile, so people can't use that excuse any longer. I love their show, very entertaining listen. That's just my opinion. :biggrin9gp:
