Re: Paris Hilton
I really do not care about or "keep up" with Paris Hilton.
However, stuff like this makes it into the mainstream news I listen to...I hate to see the justice system bastardized by the person that made the decision to let her go home on house arrest.
As I understand it, she was put in jail because she is a repeat offender (drunk driving, I think). The reality is that unless she is "scared straight" she will continue to drive drunk and at some point she may kill herself or worse yet someone else.
I am incredibly sick of two things:
1) all of the coverage of people who are "famous for being famous" (ie: they have never accomplished anything to gain their fame).
2) the enormous number of "reality" tv shows.

Re: Paris Hilton
You do know what the medical condition was, right? "WHORE-OFF!" with Mr. Slave.
On a side note, I can't really understand the point of promiscuity at all. I guess that the Sharon Olds poem "Sex Without Love" sums up my understanding of it; "How do they do it / how do people make love / without being in love?"
