Apparently, the DA is pretty ticked about this and was looking into whether or not he could file papers against the sheriff for being in contempt of court. It would seem that the judge ordered Paris wasn't eligible for in-home confinement. Also stated that he (nor the judge it seems) were notified about the release until they saw it on the news.

Read a few of the bi-line articles slamming this decision. Especially the one by Michael Ventre

Meanwhile, we have other people who should no longer BE in jail, getting lost in the system and serving too much time

How much of this has to do with the DA covering his own political butt?

Yeah she might have some freak accident in the chair that turns her into an unstoppable force who cant be killed. She would become electrical and force everyone to see her face on their tvs and computer screens. You know, like she does now.

Maybe, but in the end - who cares? It's the right thing for him to do. And I don't care who does it, or why - as long as she's locked up and sobbing by nightfall.

In case people missed the OJ trial, in America, if you have enough money, you don't have to obey the law. Kind of sucks, but that is the way it is.

Not to mention Michael Jackson and Robert Blake, who were both so obviously guilty, and both walked because of fame and money.
