Elite Camp

Maybe this question has already been answered, but when is ISU's Elite Basketball Camp? There are usually some good recruits that attend and sometimes a player or two will verbal shortly after. Anyone know any of the names that will be attending?

Can anyone go there and check out the camp or is it a "closed" deal.

Re: Elite Camp

I didn't know it was this weekend. Should we expect a commitment or are we still waiting on some kids? Do we know who will be in attendance?

I'm 99.9% sure that it has to be open or it would be considered recruiting...a violation.

Cool. Does anyone know who will be in attendance or what the format of the camp is?

What's your definition of open?
1) Open to the public to watch.
2) Or open to any kid in the grades the camp is intended for and pays their entry fee.
Just wondering how open to the public or not effects the status of the term recruiting.

Re: Elite Camp

I heard there may be a certain 5 star center there that has a last name that rymes with Steller. I would not expect a commit or he might not even show up, but it could put us firmly back in that race if in fact he does.

Found this on Zeller or this mysterious Mr. Steller...

This explains a little as to why he is as skinny as he is for a 7-footer. He's grown 10 inches in the past 2 years.

newsobserver.com | Zeller's growth continues with MVP effort

Tyler Zeller, the MVP of this weekend's Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions, has come a long way in two years.

As a 6-foot-2 ninth-grader, he was the third-leading scorer on his high school's freshman basketball team.
"That's the freshman team, not even the JV team," he emphasized.
