Here are a couple of questions to ponder on this lovely Friday:
1) Can you translate the following:
YYUR-YYUB-ICURYY4ME
2) The following facts can make an accurate statement. Can you figure it out?
11 is a race horse
12 is 12
1111 race
12112
3) In a major league baseball game, a pitcher faced only 27 batters. Every batter he faced, he struck out. He allowed no hits and no runs, yet his team lost 4-0. How could this be? (And the answer isn't advancing to 1st on a passed ball strikeout)
4) A guy bet his neighbor $100 dollars that his dog could jump higher than a house. Thinking this not possible, the neighbor took the bet an lost.
Why did he lose the bet?
And no, we're not talking about a doll house or some other miniature house.
5) Sean and Heather where sitting in their family room one night. While Sean was watching T.V his wife Heather was reading. All of a sudden the power went out and Sean decided to go to bed, but Heather kept on reading. With no use of artificial light, Heather kept on reading. How?
Any guesses/answers?

3. This is a guess, but He came in as a relief man.
No idea on the others, unless you are talking about his dog house.

No idea on the others, unless you are talking about his dog house. Yep, that is 1 of 2 possible answers. They guy came in as a relief pitcher in the first inning with no outs down 4-0. There is another possible answer too. Originally Posted by trevn Heather was blind and reading braille Exactly right.

4) The dog would only have to jump 1" because a house can't jump.

1&2= no idea....
3 = the other pitcher also matched this effort and the 4 runs came during relief, or at least after the first 27 battters.
4= Houses do not jump.
5= Trevn got it or it was night but not yet dark.

For #3, I don't know if this is what you were thinking, but this situation is possible:
The pitcher begins the game and pitches the first 4 innings (doesn't really matter how many), striking out all 12 batters. Before the 5th inning, the pitcher moves to first base. The other team proceeds to score 4 runs. The original pitcher then moves back to the mound from 1st base (this is possible if the original hurler was never removed from the lineup). The pitcher then proceeds to strike out the next 15 batters.
