Honestly, have her pay for the three rolls at $25 each, and I say call it even. Three years though? And a DUI third offense gets three months? Something's a bit off there.

Sounds extreme until you read that she's had four incidents of theft. Eventually, she's going to get jail time, whether it is from this or the next thing.

I read it as each roll was one count of theft, and the fourth was the $30 from family. The article doesn't clarify this point enough.

I bet it was Butts in the wiping stall using gloves and not Mustard in the study with a knife. It looks like it is not too hard to get on national CNN. Just make a fool out of yourself.
