Ken Sheppard, his wife Shelaine (sp?), and Ken junior moved in next door. They all seem like great people, and they're making the transition from Austin well. Ken says that everyone has been great, and he's enjoying Ames. He is a very big man. He must work out alone with every player to stay that size.

It's always nice when our coaches are good people in addition to being good at their job.

Any comments his assessment of the team? One long time friend of GC's that I met in California (because of the Cyclone hat I was wearing) said Gene's assessment was that we needed to get more speed on defense.
