I'm going as well. I'm not a huge IRL fan but the chance to see major professional racing in Iowa is too much to pass up. Those guys will be going 180 mph on a 7/8 mile track...that is amazing.
Also, attendance is going to be key. If Iowa makes a good showing, that would leave the door open for NASCAR Truck or Busch Series races in the future.
I'll be there.

I'm curious... ESPN is marketing this as the Ethanol 250 at Iowa... Is there more than one race or are they calling it two different things?
My friend got us 2nd or 3rd row seat right at the Start/Finish line. Since it is Newton Club you also get pit passes :biggrin9gp:
I have been to races where ABC will not call the race by the sponsors name because the sponsorship package was not enough. Or maybe the title sponsor has to pay the network a certain amount to get mentioned. I'm not sure of all the details.Quote:
