ISU Mailbox

Does anyone know where I can find an ISU mailbox? I have checked all of the usual places(mall, scheels etc). and have struck out. I want a red one and not just a cover up for my old black one that the house came with. It is the typical round top style that mounts on a post.

I'd say try looking ebay or half.com style for that. If you're in the Central Iowa area, and/or make it up to Ames every once in a while, I know I've seen them at a couple stores around Ames. I think HyVee Drugstore had one, and I saw one atanother store around main street, but can't remember which one. If I remember, I'll post it...

Perhaps you could take a plain black one, paint it or have it painted and add an appropriate decal?

Campus Book Store used to have one... or atleast a cover. Both UBS and CBS sell various stickers...

Last year for my birthday my mom got me an ISU red metal "rural" mailbox (just means it's a little bigger than normal). REALLY sharp looking. I'll ask her where she got it and post back. When I lived in Ames, I thought I remembered seeing them at Lowe's. Might also want to look at Earl May - they have some ISU landscaping stuff.

I've seen a nice metal one at the HyVee Drugstore (old Drug Town) on the corner of Main and Clark in Ames. I believe it was only about $25.

They have also had a ANSI certified Cyclone hardhat for those of you that wear those on occasion.

Yup, this is the one that I've got. My mom got it from Campus Book Store. The logo on the other side is just small enough that the flag doens't block it when it's down.
