    Utah QB day to day with sprained thumb - College Football - Rivals.com

    Sounds like he will be fine by time we play Utah but you never know.

    Good, because as a fan of Iowa State football, I hope you're sole focus is on this week's game and this week's game alone. Don't watch sportscenter, read the newspaper, participate in fantasy football drafts, look forward to any top 25 matchups, or even the opening week of the NFL. Iowa State has a game Saturday and I expect your mental focus to act as such.

    Pitt vs Utah was a great game to watch, I'm glad Utah won.

    I hope they are 5-0 when they come to Ames, it will make that win, that much better.

    Thumbs are VERY tedious and slow to get healthy, depending on how it was injured. Just ask AA. I will vouch as well. Especially, if he is unable to completely avoid using it, which I doubt. Keep an eye on this.
