Well, insanity is trying the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. AA is a good player, sometimes you just need to bench him.

Exactly. If I'm not mistaken, he's in the top ten of pretty much every major statistical category in school history. He's also got the highest completion percentage for any quarterback EVER at ISU, so for a guy that "can't complete a pass" he sure can still do it better than any other quarterback that's come through here.

Seneca Wallace is punching you in the face.

ISU has had 2 QBs that have been good in the history of the program. Seneca Wallace and Sage Rosenfels. They both only played 2 years. Austen has played 3. He should be in the top ten, but that does not mean he is a good QB.

IMO, many of you are underestimating how good Iowa's defense is. The interceptions COULD be explained that that he's had to force things since we were down 4-5 touchdowns, and trying to force things against Iowa is a bad idea.

My opinion is that you have Arnaud play against KSU. If he struggles against them, then you make the switch. I don't see much chance Tiller beats KSU, so I don't really see a downside to giving Arnaud one more chance.

I hope you realize that Tiller started at Lincoln NE last year and won 9-7....With No interceptions....

Even Rhoads admitted going into this game that you cant win by throwing 3/4 int's...

Forget a bowl game its gonna be a long season with lots of butt whippings...next up we take our yearly butt whipping from bill snyder and kstate!!!

We all knew this game probably wasn't gonna be a W.....
Who really thinks Tiller would have one that one??

Hawks are better than we are - it's just that simple

Re: Really? Who is still all about Arnaud???

Count me in the AA hater group. Realistically he gives us a better chance to win than any other on the team currently. I actually think Tiller is a better QB than Arnaud in a few ways, first I think he understands that it's the QB's job to manage the game and not make mistakes and that somehow AA hasn't been able to grasp this. Second I think he makes better reads, based on what I've seen of him. Ultimately though, AA is a better athlete and throws a better ball 6 out of 10 days, although he is probably more consistent than AA who has really good and really bad days.

AA should and will continue to be our starter, but we better be out recruiting every Juco QB in the country and any 3* or higher QB that will listen to us, because next year will be just as ugly as the last 2 with any QB currently on the roster.

We just as well play next years quarterback, with our schedule why not? Arnaud has done well. The writing is on the wall it is a team sport in a no hold barred sport.

When we can run, AA is the One. When we cannot like today, get a passer in the game.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style.

I don't know if we have a passer on the team? Maybe Capello?

being in the record book at ISU means nothing at all as a QB, or for any other position really. if you play for ISU, you are going to lose alot of games and have a very slim shot at playing any form of pro ball. for the first time in my life, i am leaving my house without a cyclones hat because im just too damn embarresed to wear one today

Re: Really? Who is still all about Arnaud???

I am in the group that thinks we should have a pocket passer. It won't be any better next year. Meyer, Arnaud, and Tiller are pretty much the same. That is ten years of great running ability and poor passing out of our QB position. We need to recruit a passing QB instead of an "athlete" who can throw.
