Let's move on from the Iowa game. We still have a good team. We have weaknesses but what we saw yesterday was far from our best.

The team got whipped, for sure. However, it won't be hard to improve on this debacle. The bar is pretty low right now. I think this one game, this early in the season, can't dictate what future effort will look like.

What? You expect PR to be in B12 championship contention in year 2? Sober off and come back later.

Exhibit A for hope for this season:

    Kansas

Week 1: Played worse than any Big 12 team should ever play. Fans wanted the coach fired.

Week 2: Beating a ranked team that was in a BCS bowl last year.

I wasn't sure for awhile, but his Big 12 title contention line sealed it for me.

It's completely obvious that we've taken so many steps back today; we went from beating Nebraska, inspiring Cyclone nation and rejuvenating hope in our program, back to the dump of college football with one of the worst performances I've ever seen by any team ever. Iowa completely dominated us in all aspects of the game, and this loss will sting forever.
Good God.... It was one game. Iowa is a good, if not great team. We are year 2 of new coaching staff with the hardest schedule in the nation.

If this happens a few more times I will be worried, but we are in game 2 of the season. We have all new linebackers. Now we are down one. We need some DL recruits.

You don't save a program in 1 year. It takes time. And we are in good hands. Funny how fast you all want to jump off the CPR wagon. Let me guess. You will flip out when Freddie and basketball team get beat this season calling for his head.

The pain is that in the past you could always play the "could have, would have, should have" game in your mind. ISU was in it until they had a pick 6 etc ... or ISU could have still turned it around. Even last year I left the game feeling that ISU left something on the table and could have won with a few lucky bounces. This year, I think that you could have played the game 100 times and Iowa would have won every time....

Yet, this is the first you've ever heard of this board, and just decided to join. Why don't you go play in the interstate and tell us how that goes for you. TROLL
