Has the results of Saturday lowered anyone's expectations for this team?
sigh.
if we have learned anyuthing from last year...give it a few games.
Nope. This coming weekend will be the indicator for me.
Said 5-7 before the season and am sticking with it.
Now we can't afford to lose any more guys on the defense due to injury
No...I said 4-5 wins a few months ago.
Nope. I was hoping for a good showing at least which we did not see. That doesn't mean that the season is a loss though. I think our boys just got a reality check and I think we will be thanking the hoks at the end of the year for that when we get to a bowl game. Yes.... I still think this team can get to a bowl game but we are going to have to improve a TON on offense. Can't be too hard on the defense when the offense allows another team to have nearly 14 minutes of possession in the first quarter. That just isn't going to work.
Nope, we are who we said we were. That is, before everyone started talking up our team during the last week and making them into a world beater.
The Cyclones got their heads handed to them by a team ranked in the top ten. Get a grip, people.
Edit: To clarify, the posters before me on this thread have a grip, there have just been way too many bipolar posters everywhere else on this site the last few days.
absolutely not.
I expected between 4 and 6 wins and I'm still expecting between 4 and 6 wins. The thing that changes my expectations a little is how well Utah and KSU have played.
I also expected that certain members of the internet fan base would overreact to everything, and that certainly hasn't disappointed. I still stand by my prior prediction that some members of the on-line fan base will be putting Rhoads on the hot seat after this year (if we don't make a bowl).
We lost to a top 10 team on their own field with us missing 2 defensive starters.
There is a class of games (against top 25) we will get blown out in. We are 0-1
There is a class of games (the rest) that we have a chance in. We are 1-0.
So far so good.
Nope, I had this game pegged as a loss. Was hoping for it not to be, but I'm in no way surprised by the outcome.
I just thought we should be a step ahead of last season, same ****, different season, but now we have Texas, OU, Utah, TTU on the schedule.
Nope, I still say 7 wins.
Well, my prediction was that we would be "in" every game. So, I suppose so...
No. This was one game. I still expect us to go 6-6
