See Minnesota if you think trying to change to the players you have is a good idea...not so much.
This. Our guys were recruited over the course of 2 staffs with more of a run-first offense mentality. Never - ever was a spread, no-huddle offense envised for a guy like Jake Williams, Marquis Hamilton, AA, KO, etc. Which is why last years success was such an achievement.
Our guys now can be "serviceable" and can gain some good success in their current roles...but will never truely excell in the vision that Herman has for this offense.
Just takes time....

Re: WR speed
I apologize. I forgot to mention that was a 3A state final time. By my count, there are 5-7 Florida 2010 football signees who ran a faster time than JW ranging from 10.44 (Denard Robinson) to Mike Bellamy (10.66). In comparison, Jeff Demps ran a 9.96 100m earlier this year. Hard to find sub 4.5 football players who are willing to leave the state.

If so, they would also need a 40 inch vertical to bring the ball down. Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

Just takes time.... I agree. Look at RichRod for example. The jury is out on this year but for at least the first year it was evident that they didn't have the personnel to be successful in his system. However, if you don't implement what you know then you fail doing that and you have to reteach everything to some of the same guys. You implement your system and then get your guys. I have said this numerous times. It will take at least 6 years for us to consistently compete with top 25 teams. It will take three years for success to influence recruiting and even then we will be getting guys that need 2-3 years of development before they are ready. That's how it is. Michigan or Alabama is different. They have the name and prestige. Even though they were bad at one point, they can still go get some guys that are ready right away.

Thanks for correcting me.

Re: WR speed
10.7 is not all that fast. 10.3 is fast.

If it's hand timed, then its about a 4.54 converted to FAT.

While I never had any disillusion of grandeur , I was shocked to hear that from coach. No pun intended but I'd put Money on this! This is how we FINISH STRONG!!! -

I remember when Money 1st arrived last year and was told that LJ was faster than him and then I saw a practice video where Money left him standing almost flat footed. I don't doubt Lenz is speedy, but I wouldn't discredit our other guys!!
