Saturday Dilemma
A buddy in our group going to KC just started a new job yesterday at the ice rink. Yesterday he found out he has to work til 12 on Friday night.
Would you leave after 12, when he gets off work and get there at 3:30, or get up at 4:00 on Saturday and leave?
Either way,we'll be there. Hoping for a big win and great day Cyclone football!

Re: Saturday Dilemma
Leave at 12. whoever is driving should try to sleep before.

Re: Saturday Dilemma
If it was me, I would get up at 4 am and leave. Always better sleeping in my own bed. In my younger days, leave at midnight. Who needs sleep?

It sounds like *cough, cough*, your buddy *cough* isn't feeling very well *cough, cough*.

Re: Saturday Dilemma
Let's see. A choice between getting a measly two and a half hours of sleep or just staying up and partying?
Stay up and drive down when your buddy gets off of work.

How old is your buddy? 50?
Tell him to sack up and party the night away....

If I hadn't called in to say I'd be late from halftime of the basketball game with Baylor a couple of years ago, I really wouldn't support this plan.
Probably still not the best way to go, but it's something.
In our place, we're getting up at 5 and taking off, but we're just in for the game.

I'd say your buddy who made a bad career choice stays home or drives himself. Why should the rest of the group suffer? If you have his back this time, it's like endorsing his dumb move. He's sure to repeat his mistakes if you do that. You owe it to him to leave his *** home. Leave Friday at noon. You're welcome.

Working at the ice rink = career choice?
And holy crap, can we get any more d-bag? There are priorities in life, such as being able to AFFORD to go to ISU games... Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice? Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this. -

It was a joke. Sarcasm pirate dependency is an insidious affliction.
