The Great Diversion...(just for fun)
I think we'll come out bombing this game and catch KSU off guard. We haven't shown any of that thus far this season so maybe we were just saving it for Big 12 competition!?
#imjustsaying :)
Good Luck CYCLONES!!! Have a safe trip guys and handle the business!!!!
This is how we FINISH STRONG!!! -

I think they will pull some tricks out too

Re: The Great Diversion...(just for fun)
I'd like to just continue running our offense until we get it figured out. Sometimes the only cure is reps.
"No matter how many hours you study opponent films, there's only going to be eleven players on the other side of the line of scrimmage." - Sid Gillman
It's a simple game in which strategic beauty comes not from being surprised by some new clever trick, but from the sublime, routine brilliance of a master in his element. -
Re: The Great Diversion...(just for fun)
I would like to believe that, but with the play calling and the decision making of late by our QB probably doesn't allow this to happen.
I hope we do what you mentioned though OP. We need some flavor from the O. This game means everything for the season IMO.

Good Luck CYCLONES!!! Have a safe trip guys and handle the business!!!! I'm of the opinion that we should try to win all of our games.
If we come out and start throwing deep all over the place, I think it will be a sign of desperation.
The Oline doesn't hold blocks long enough to throw deep very often.
The receivers, other than DD and White Chocolate haven't shown anything.
The QB hasn't shown that he's accurate or makes good decisions w/the football.
I'd like to see us run, run and run some more. That's where the skill position talent is on this team. ARob and the Floridian Flash are the two best offensive weapons that we have. AA running the ball is when he's most effective as well.
Trying to throw the ball down the field more than a few times will not be good for us with this QB, this Oline and these receivers, imo.

Re: The Great Diversion...(just for fun)
I expected to see some tricky stuff by this point already this season. Last year we showed some "trick" plays that I'd like to see again. We have a pretty versatile WR who was a former QB. I'm sure we can find some way to make that work for us......
The only bigger turnoff than finding out a woman smokes, is finding out she's a Husker fan. -

It might be time to earn some nicknames. Just sayin'.

I don't know that he's made someone miss yet.
His catches against Iowa were when they were letting us do what we wanted, IIRC.
Like I said before, he'll be Darius until he earns a nickname. You don't get to bring a nickname like $ with you and just keep it without earning it.
I do think Darius has the potential to be an average receiver in the Big 12, but he's gonna have to improve his route running.

When you are "money" in middle school, the nickname is apparently good for life.

A nickname like that should have to renewed every 2 years.
Maybe he'll become a financial planner.

Maybe he'll become a financial planner. Be curious to know your nickname RHH and when you got it; or do you even have friends?
