I'm still highly critical of your loss of Pollard as a resource (that is on you, not him as he is the "customer" in this situation) & your handling of the John Walter's interview. Both are a negative reflections related to your level or professionalism (or should I say, lack of)at times IMO.

That said, I do agree with your comment regarding the uber sensitivity of some ISU fans.

To you it might be "amazing". To many of us ISU fans it is embarrassing.

BTW….I was impressed with your knowledge of the DM restaurant scene this morning. You were throwing out names of places like Sborrco, Mars Café, 801 Steak like a longtime DM resident

I think he means he plans Rhoads to right the ship. The commentary is simply idiotic on this post. Gil lost a gimme his first game out to a subdivision team, and the world was ending. Rhoads got beat(not the end of the world) in humiliating fashion(this is what ended every ISU fan's world) to an in-state rival and he plans on him righting the ship as well. The situation is similar in that both teams had to be thinking they will never win another game after those respective losses. The comparison is fine. Go find something else to complain about.

I love the restaurants here in DSM. Might be my favorite part of living here. Amazing, non-chain places to eat.

So says the man that is ridiculously sensitive about every little tiny thing that is said on this site. No argument that the OP was overly sensitive - and then he's been absolutely reamed by every other poster in this thread. But good job using one minor poster as the barometer of opinion for the site as a whole...

This is killing me having to take Matt's side on this, but look at his comment again.

When a person uses a qualfier like "some", that should be a huge clue that they are not talking about anything as a "whole". How do you arrive at that conclusion?
