Why is ISU not putting at least 8 in the box?

The KSU QB is very average. They are getting killed by the run though. Why not force them to pass?

finally 1st play after kickoff when score is 17-17 they sneak a safety for 8 in the box and there is no gain.

this could very easy become the worst defense in the last 20 years of ISU football , my thinking was the same as Chris W that the front 4 could not be any worse than last year but this is terrible, feel sorry for AJ because he is the only big 12 calibur defense player the cyclones have, numbers 23 and 3 are horrible

Our D-line looks to tiny compared to KSU's o-line.

Early in the game I dont know why we didnt try 5 defensive lineman with the linebacker injuries.
