Our backups must be terrible

If we can't find talent in recruiting we are in trouble. Some of these guys playing are not very good. What do we have in the tank for the future. Where are the players at?

ISU has never been deep. When they have had good seasons they were injury fee and had players that played better than they were. This team right now is neither.

I am talking about our Defensive line and our QB's. It seems like we have 20 running backs. Can't we we quit getting so many running backs or switch them to defensive back? We just got the standard kid and we have about 3 deep on running back. Yet we have no linebackers except Klien and KNott. Our defensive line is terrible and there seems to be nobody behind them to push them for playing time.

with the talent on defense ISU has it should have gone to the Mid Am Conference when had the chance

l don't know how many guys ISU is bringing in this year, or how many commits so far, but the rest of the class needs to be very heavy on the defensive side, like 75% DL and LBers. ISU was very lucky to be in this game at all. Without the pick 6 this game would have been a laugher.

I have never understood why ISU (and teams in similar underdog positions) don't take a 315 dude from the oline...a two deep even....and give him some playing time at noseguard in obvious running plays. Lord, that line play today was a joke. Our safety is making every tackle 8 yards past LOS. It is like Walden years again. All a fat dude at noseguard has to do for coaching is tell him not to go backwards!!!! Is it that freaking hard....you can work on other things when you get one that excels at not getting pushed back 5 yards.

I think you are right....KSU was toyying with us. It should have been about 35-10, but we were lucky to within not embarassing reach. But, what else is new with us.

Woody is more consistent the Arob. has anyone else notice how slow he is to finding the hole and how slow his is in general. Plus Why not make the QB and RB change are we winning with these guys? And Rhoads is being loyal to AA. Get him out he is not leading the team. not making good throws. and does not know how to manage the clock.

We had no business being in that game. I think CPR kept us in that game with his coaching. We have the least talent in the big 12. Except at WR and Running back. Then we are in the middle of the pack.
Our Defenseive line is the worst
Our offensive line is decent
Linebackers are way young

Really? What did Tiller do? He was 0-1 with one 10 yard run. Now that is lights out right there.

How can you say he played well when he was only in for two snaps and during that time a drive inside the red-zone sputtered?

What? Woody has had like 5 carries in his career? How can you judge if he is more consistent that AROB? Awful post.

Ummm...no...K-State was not toying with us. That was their full effort.
