we are not at a highly competitive level right now. Iowa could have scored 49 and held us to 0. That doesn't mean we wont win more game this year, however.
Iowa probably could have put up a lot more than that, and certainly could have shutout ISU for the first time in a loooooong time. Other, more offensively tuned teams might put up more (and might lean towards padding those stats and scores for the pollsters).
If you guys can't find some sort of rhythm going on offense, and get in the groove defensively...it might get ugly once you hit Texas and Oklahoma.
Not a chance. Bama is better than last year and no way those two are better with losing their some of their greatest qb's in school history.
Tide wins easy.
I never said UT or OU would play Bama. I just said we would lose by about the same amount playing against the three teams. Yes, Bama is better than those two, but I think when you're playing a team like ISU, the outcomes would be relatively the same.
I figure that we would lose by a good 200 points. The NCAA would give us the Death Penalty for being an embarrassment to anything slightly resembling organized Pop Warner league play, and we would be relegated to the MVC (Missippi Valley Conference; high school) where we would be repeatedly embarrassed and form a rivalry with City High, just to have the Little Hawk boosters and fans whine and complain every year about how they have nothing to gain and everything to lose by playing us each year. This would then spark a media storm as CPR is found black-out drunk taking a test for AJ Klein in Psychology 101. CPR would be fired for gross misconduct, and we would spiral into oblivion where 10 years from now people are asking "Why didn't we just get CPR the help he needed? We were somewhat relevant when he was here, and now we don't even have 30 people showing up to our games!"
