My guess would be that it is a designed play to Franklin. Either way, all the other receivers have to to run full speed to draw their defenders in. Oh well. On to UNI. You're exactly right, of course.

Great effort young man.
With the game on the line, you chose not to try because I can only assume you were pouting like a baby. Whoever you are...TRANSFER to a school where this sort of thing is acceptable.
Although, I don't know if PR will do anything about it.
It's 4th down...the game is on the line...is it too much to ask for you to try?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? WTFO? You are specifically naming a person that you THINK is not trying? You THINK it is Reynolds, but are not 100% sure but then you go on to slam him like no other! If I were to specifically name a person and then slam him, I would be 100% sure, until that happens, STFU!

I'll say this, I am not the only one unimpressed with Money thus far - and the others unimpressed see him a lot more than anyone else on this site.
That's the problem with family/friends showing up on sites like this. Other fans just have blind love for the player because they get hyped up. Can't say anything critical about them even though it's 100% fact.
I'd much rather he turn into the player he's been hyped up to be on the interwebs. This team is in dire need of someone, anyone, to consistently show up at the receiver position. I don't think it is blind love...I think it is a general disdain for seeing grown men criticize a college student's "effort" when that individual probably spent the vast majority of their college days skating by and getting stupid drunk. There is no reason to be as critical as some are of a 18-22 year old kid, absolutly no reason for it. (Insert comment about how we are paying for their education, and any other "justification" for criticizing a student athlete trying their hardest to win).

"Risk their lives"...really? That's a tad overly dramatic, especially when you say they're doing it for the fans, coaches, siblings parents.
What a selfless act it is to take a full ride scholarship to play college football.
You have to be kidding me with this, but rest assured, many on this board will eat it up. Originally Posted by ISUFan22 Thou can't say anything even remotely critical of the great Money Reynolds. While he has not yet done anything notable on the field, he will - because his brother said so.

I think it was more of RossHall calling out a player, even though he wasn't sure who it was. He just threw out Darius' name. We've had a couple of posters go back and watch the clip and say they don't think it was him. The City also acknowledged the problem as well, he wasn't denying anything.
I'm sure whoever the player was will be noticed during film watch by the coaches. Either way, its time to move on to UNI.

But it's completely ok for fans to throw AA under the bus and call him names? A guy that is out there on every single offensive play while the other being discussed here is not?
Ok.
Keep in mind, the comments are not attack on the player(s) personally - but instead their football playing abilities and effort.

I have no problem with generalized, objective comments about a player, something like "Arnaud seems like a good kid but it's time to try something new". The language that has been used has been much more inflammatory than that, blindly calling out a player for his "effort", suggesting he transfer, etc. It is way out of line, and it is hard for me to take some poster, who presumably has done nothing of significance in his athletic "career", using such inflammatory language toward someone who has devoted a large part of their life, both before and during college, to being a successful football player.

AA's brother doesn't post on the board, so it's ok.
BTW, I don't have the game on tape now, but I think it was a different angle from an instant replay instead of live action.

Re: Who was the receiver at the top of the screen on the last play?
Money is being underutilized. So is Darius, Part of the reason is we cannot sustain drives. We take a two yard run, and pretty soon it is time to punt. Thank God our punter is looking pretty good. If you go back to the drive charts of the last three games, our offense looks non existent.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

If this is the mentality you're operating under, I hope all the people who have done nothing of significance in a coaching career never speak ill of our coaches and their decisions.
Thick.

Psst...he could still get the ball on first, second or third down of a three-and-out. He's not. If he was such the playmaker he's billed up to be, he'd get the ball. Whether it was via air or on end arounds - the staff would get him the ball. They're not - we've not yet seen any attempt to ensure he gets the ball.
We have fans here stating "Money is our best playmaker, get him the ball" when there is absolutely no data to back that up. None. The only reason is the internet hype.
It's the same thing with Bo Williams from the past. He was somehow the savior for the team based on nothing but internet bandwidth.
Based on what we've seen - Lenz possesses more playmaking ability than Reynolds.
My comments in this thread stand whether Money was the player accused of loafing or not.

Has he shown something in practice that warrants additional playing time? Seems doubtfull since he doesn't start at receiver, return kickoffs or punts.
Remember the shock and outright laughing from The City when people suggested that his brother could be a good backup? I do.

Thick. Whole different story. Coaches are profesisonals, paid a significant amount of money to do their job well. Student-athletes are just that, students and athletes. I know the common argument is that they are given scholarships, allowing idiot fans to take out their blind rage and general anger about a lack of an athletic career on them, and if you feel like berating a 22 year old-- go for it. If you do, however, I would expect you to go down to the science building and find the kid on scholarship whose thesis paper just didn't quite cut it, or the guy here on a music scholarship whose trumpet was out of tune the other day.

That's not a knock on Darius, but a fact.
He could end up being a decent receiver for us down the road, but if he was the receiver at the top of the screen, I think I can see why the coaches have never counted on him to be a starter in our receiver happy offense.

What is your grudge with City and Darius? This is getting old. Honestly its starting to sound like ankle and shada talking about ISU over on HN.
