IMO, this game is a bigger atmosphere game than Iowa. The past two times UNI has come to Ames, the attendance record has been set and re-set. They obviously bring a lot of people and the past two times I have gone, it has been an awesome time. Usually there is not the hostility of the Iowa game and its good times had by all. I'm looking forward to it, mostly because my family has 3 UNI grads (including myself) and one current ISU student.
Most people expect 5-6 wins this year. This is an absolute must win or recruiting could tank.
Fixed this for you. Many of the fans who predicted Iowa State to win 5 or 6 games expected K-State to be one of those. Those fans are now predicted 3-4 wins at best.Quote:

The team needs to keep striving to get better. The effort was better yesterday than it was against iowa. I really hope the effort, attention and intensity is there this week in practice. We should put UNI away early and march up and down the field on them. If the team isn't in the right frame of mind, UNI will bring it and make a game out of this. It's time for some leaders to step and rally the team and focus on playing a great game this week.
