ISU vs UNI TV in the tailgate lot

Trying to figure out our best option for getting the game in the tailgate lot. Doesn't appear to be on DirecTV which is what we hook up all the LCDs to while tailgating.

I'm thinking my best option is tethering BB/iphone to laptop and output HDMI to the TV for CloneZone or someone with a SlingBox and mediacom.

Anyone have mediacom and a slingbox and want to hook me up with the login for the game?

Thoughts?

Would the cell phone broadband even work well enough to watch live video? Sometimes it's hard to even make a call with that many people in the area.

Isn't it on Mediacom? so wouldnt you need a cable run or someone to stream it online(doubt it).

You are already there so just buy a ticket.

Wow. Going to the tailgate lot to NOT go to the game? The only acceptable reason for doing this is that JTS is sold out. Even then, scalp some tickets.

Zzzz. Answer the question. I have tickets. I went to KC and went to the game. I went to the Thursday opener. I went to Iowa City. I bought the mini-pack. Please stop crying. This was a technical question, so if you have no knowledge...don't reply.

I bring a even more people, (that wouldn't normally come to Ames) to support the team, for the mere fact that I provide the ability to watch the game. That's better than nothing... Way more likely to sell tickets when people are at the stadium, rather than at home.

Why not have your friends "support the team" by buying tickets?

This is why I was asking about mediacom and a slingbox.

I can only do so much as far as tickets go. Like I said, it is far more likely for people to buy tickets if they are actually going to be there (if they normally would just be at home).

If you are going to buy and supply all that crap just so your friends can watch the game in the parking lot, you might as well just buy them tickets instead.

WOW DUDE! Going to OUR lot to watch OUR game ON TV that is going on 50 feet away??? This is why ISU is destined to be in C-USA.
