I can't remember who we played but I remember they brought in portable lights. I was pretty young, but I think they used the portable lights for two home games that year (maybe early 90s). Lights were installed on Jack Trice the next season.

Indeed. For almost everyone I knew, the "Family Weekend" (or Parents' Weekend as it used to be known) activities consisted of tailgating, going to the game, tailgating a little more, the folks handing over some spendin' cash, and then everybody parting ways.
