You try to learn 3 different play books from different coaches. The terminology used in each play book is probably 90%+ different than the previous. It's not something that is just picked up and ran perfectly. Heck my high school play book is difficult to learn. Can you tell me me what a "Wing 7 Hook-Slash-Seam" is? These are what high school plays are. Now imagine college football terminology. Also let alone the calls pre-snap a QB has to make. It ain't easy.
    Oh, hai there

    Re: TILLER!

Anyone saying Tiller and AA are equal after tonight is either delusional or trying to defend earlier comments. Austen may not be great, but he is substantially more accurate than Tiller and makes better reads in the run game.

At this rate, does Tom Herman still have a job next year? You almost can't try to be this unproductive. It's unreal.
Yeah, let's switch systems again. Great idea. We need continuity, we cannot keep switching systems every 2 years. That will make it worse, not better.

This line is perfect in describing our current QB situation.
Nope, not even similar. Arnaud put up much better numbers against much tougher teams. Tiller did basically nothing against a bad secondary. Period. You also can't separate fact from excuse. It actually amazes me that you hire anyone with the kind of logic you use. Remind me not to contact you when I look to hire. I don't hire people who can't think logically or at least rationally. I don't like whiners either.

    Re: TILLER!

The ONE thing Tiller deserves credit for tonight is that fact that he didn't turn the ball over. That said, he has a lot of improving to do before he's ready to be a full-time starting quarterback.

I think before you can answer this question, the question you have to ask is, is the playcalling this "inept" simply because the talent is that inept, or is he simply that inept? My guess is Hermann looks inept simply because he cannot open up the offense with the players he has. If our WRs cannot gain separation against the DBs that UNI had, how is he supposed to call up plays for a downfield passing game? It just doesn't add up. I mean, we're lucky that ARob can get the yards he's able to get with the defenses stacking the box against the run. With our WRs that inept at gaining separation from the DBs, they don't have to commit extra players to the passing game.

I am so tired of you babies crying about how Arnaud has had to learn 3 play books. He is a Big 12 QB, if he cant learn the system he shouldn't play.

How many times did Arnaud turn the ball over last week? That's what I thought...

    Re: TILLER!

Arnaud is in his second season in this offense, and some of you are trying to say that he's getting confused because he had to learn Barney Cotton's offense when he redshirted 4 years ago. Got ya.

How many Big 12 QBs had to learn a new playbook every other year? That's right - NONE. Perhaps that's why every other school in the Big 12 has a stable QB situation.

Why does Tiller get "credit" for not committing any turnovers this week, when Arnaud did the same last week, but the fans were practically ready to revoke his scholarship because he overthrew ARob in the final minutes (funny how Tiller overthrew a receiver earlier in the K-State game and all anyone could say is "look at the 'touch' on that pass")?

IMO you can't have it both ways.

Oh, and I love how the OP, HerkyKiller, has not been back in this thread to backup his ridiculous opening statement.
