How did he get that spin on it? I'm not sure I could get a flat, clock wise spin if I tried.

What ever happened to truth, justice and the American Way?

However, it was only a net 18 yard punt because it went into the endzone, didn't it? Our true punter had two downed inside the 20 I believe.

Tiller also had a 10 yard advantage on the punter since he was punting from the shotgun.

Hey, he is a triple threat. Can he also do fieldgoals like Paul Hornung?
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style.

Yeah!!!! And Mahoney should be our running back. He did have an average of 5 ypc. Heck, throw him out at linebacker, we are a bit thin there. He's probably top 10 on the team in tackles this year.

Re: Should Tiller be our Punter?

I think it's an excellent question. If you're the opposing coach, what would you do if you see Tiller lined up as the punter? Do you put a punt returner back deep, or do bring him up to help defend the fake? I'm no coach, so I'd love to hear from people more knowledgeable than me.

Yes, he is probably the best on the team right now.

I didn't see tiller's punt. Was it a true punt, or more of a rugby style kick?

Re: Should Tiller be our Punter?

All I could say at the time that they called it was how crazy it was to go on 4th and 24 or so from their 38. I thought they were going for a delay penalty then send out the punter. It had a shot at staying out of the end zone. Weird night for special teams, with that call and the fake field goal.

I think AJ Klein should be our return specialist. He knows how to take it to the HOUSE.
