Arob Injury update?

Is Arob going to be playing this weekend? My brother told me that this morning Arob was limping around at Seasons and it was so bad it took him a couple minutes to make it out to his car.

Well that's certainly not a good sign, hope to see him healthy soon!

The way he got bent back on that goal line play made me cringe. I hope he is good to go this weekend. We could really use that 1-2 punch again this week.

At least this year we have an explosive backup. Shontrelle would pick up the slack if ARob can't play.

I'm really hoping he's just limping like that from being iced. I know that in high school when I ran cross country, I limped pretty badly for about 15-20 minutes after ice baths for shin splints, but that limping was more because the muscles weren't warmed up than anything.

Yep, he's not playing. Do you hear that Utah coaches and fans. A-Rob is not playing. He's hurt. He won't suit up. He won't even be on the sidelines because he can hardly stand.

Seriously, I hope he is okay, but that is the message I would be sending out if were the ISU coaches.

+1. Shontrelle & Woody will get the job done if A-Rob can't go. And if they can't then we all know Bo Williams will!!!

Had a brief conversation with him last night via twitter. He asked for some compuer help/advice, and as a computer geek/expert I gave him some help/advice, wished him well and said that I hoped his ankle was better. Said, "...But appreciate it...the ankle is healing. I'll be good by Friday"

I would bet the limping is from icing. At least I hope so. As it's been said though, I'm glad we have Shontrelle and Woody to back him up.

I agree that Shontrelle & Woody should provide very capable back up services for running the ball if ARob can't go for some reason. If he's unable, the area that I think ARob will be missed most is in the blitz pick up! He is very good at it and from what I've read, Utah likes to bring pressure regularly!

We need ARob in the game if he is able!

I love Shontrelle and Woody, but I also dont think we fall off too much with White either. I think hes a pretty darn good player. I hope we find a way to get him on the field somehow.

I agree, I heard each player in the 2 deep is doubtful for this game, terribly tough game last game.

I really like white too, just wish he could get a run here or there. At least he so making some plays on special teams. He recovered a muffed punt.

When I played football in highschool I could barely walk through school. I dont even know how I practiced, but once the game started I was fine. Arob will be fine.

If ARob can't go, it is a drop off in the running game but not near the amount it was last season.

It could hurt us in the passing game, young backs struggle to make the transition and picking up the rush.
