CPR: Tiller is 2nd string QB
Coach Rhoads just said that Jerome Tiller could have played against Utah but at that point in the game, it would have been foolish to throw him out there. Rhoads said that Tiller might not be 100 percent right not but that he is playing at full speed.

I'm sure the coaches and players goal is another bowl game. AA needs all the game experience he can get. Sure he is a senior but this is still only his 15th game in this system. He obviously has a lot he can get better at. Why not keep him out there? Try to get some timing issues worked out in a game situation? What good does it do to put Capello in the game to face 3rd string defenders?
If Tiller was ok to play, I could see AA being out in the 3rd quarter but Tiller wasn't ok.

Re: CPR: Tiller is 2nd string QB
Personally I dont care who is at back-up. But it is getting wayyy to ridiculous hearing fans call for Tiller. Does anyone remember when the new staff came in and they said he wasnt even a division 1 QB? I do. The guy has not caught up to Arnaud. The fans that keep calling for him, I even heard one on Soundoff last night that sounding like a complete idiot, need to realize he isnt the best option on the team if hes not on the field.

Totally agree. Those calling for Tiller look like idiots. Have they even seen what the offense looks like when he's playing??

And I doubt they said it.

Re: CPR: Tiller is 2nd string QB
If AA is our best option, then why risk him getting hurt???? Our 2nd string QB is not able to go. Why risk 2 QB's hurt??? Austen is struggling and we don't want him hurt. I would have liked to see a QB change atleast at the start of the 4th quarter if not sooner.

Re: CPR: Tiller is 2nd string QB
lol, I'm sure Tom Herman and Paul Rhoads came out and said "this Jerome Tiller guy isn't even a D1 QB."
Yet, they've played him in key roles through out the last 2 years. If that were the case he would have been converted to another position or been shown the door by now.

I don't think I'm alone when I say I'd like to see more and more planets fall under the ruthless domination of our solar system. -

A week ago AA threw for 4 TD's and everyone loved him. This week we, as a TEAM, got our ***** handed to us. If you are going to throw AA under the bus, also throw Parker under the bus, and Neal, and Reeves, and O'Connell, and LJ, and our OL, and our WR's. They all sucked
