Re: ***Official ISU-Oklahoma Postgame Thread***
Wow, we are just so bad, it is hard to believe. We have been so outmanned the last two weeks it is laughable. Besides the punter there is no one on this team playing winning football. It is just plain sad.

At least we don't have to play a top 10 team next week! -

Re: ***Official ISU-Oklahoma Postgame Thread***
I didnt expect ISU to cover even though I bet them to cover. OK did there job by scoring a ******** of points and ISU again screwed me over on my credits. Poor kicking and an enept offense. This is poor.

I can't imagine what CPR says to these guys. Where do you start? Hell, how do you even get them to keep coming to practice? Tough job for coach. I feel pretty bad for the guy.

Things could be way worse. We have 3 wins. We are playing a lot of young players. We don't have Chizik and his pathetic coordinators. The tough part of the schedule is almost over. We still have a chance to get to a bowl game. We get to play Kansas in 2 weeks. As bad as this game was, when you look at the big picture, the program is headed in the right direction.

I understand it is special to play in a power confrence but I realistically do not believe this program as of now can compete in the big 12 every week. maybe we should seriously consider leaving the big12 and play in a non qualifying bcs confrence. I know it sounds bad but I wouldnt mind going to bowl games consistanly. and I understand losing big12 creditbility would be a major problem for athletics and the University..
please dont give me a beat down. I love the cyclones and I want to do whats best for this program.
That is not best for the program.
We start getting a bye week next year.

Then, you play the second half and make exactly zero plays.
What do you say after the game, then?
I really don't know what the hell you'd say to them.

Re: ***Official ISU-Oklahoma Postgame Thread***
Someone asked about our last time being shutout. It was back-to-back in 2003:
10/25 vs. Nebraska (28-0), and then 11/8 against KSU (45-0)----after a bye week -

please dont give me a beat down. I love the cyclones and I want to do whats best for this program. There are so few non-AQ bowl spots and games that even then we would be less likely to go to a bowl game than we are now. Bowl games in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2009 all in the Big 12. I think we can compete in the Big 12, just not against the upper-echeleon of the south.

Reason: meant non-aq

I tried telling myself this, but can't come up with a legitimate reason to believe it.
What have you seen that makes you believe it's head in the right direction?
