apples to oranges, you can't compare winning % from entire previous years with 1/2 of this year. Every single team in a BCS conferences has a high winning percentage after the first 4 weeks of season and it drops throughout the season as they all play eachother. If you want to make this comparison, then compare the first 7 weeks of each season back to 2007.

No I completely agree, that's why I said it'll definitely fluctuate downward as far as our opponents win percentage is concerned.
And that's too much work for me, going through all the teams' records through 7 weeks. Takes twice as much effort.
Regardless though, I can pretty much guarantee you that we're on pace to have all of the numbers this year higher than in years past. I highly doubt we had lost to teams that were a combined 22-2 after 7 games in any of the previous 3 years - possibly ever.
