Glad that Tiller got in
I didn't expect him to light things up, but they needed to get AA out of that game before he got hurt. I would not mind starting Tiller against TX, so AA can have a bye week to get ready for KU. If the Clones get beat up too bad next week they will not even be able to handle the hapless J-Hawks. -

Re: Glad that Tiller got in
so ... we're saving our starting QB for KU? thats how far we've fallen?
the way Mizzou looked today we have 2 possible wins left KU & CO. If AA can't somehow beat Texas its time to look to the future - whoever that may be

You don't sit a QB looking forward to another game. I want to win next week. AA is our best chance to win. AA will start next game. I think a win is wildly optimistic, but everything set itself up perfect today. We got killed, starters can come back from and TX just won the one game they have been focusing on forever. Defiantly could see them overlooking us, just need to take advantage of a few mistakes. Texas' offense is nothing compared to OU's. If only the offense can pull their head out of their *** and put a couple TD's.

We looked pretty good against Tech. Every weekends a brand new ballgame. Not a game left that is a guaranteed win or loss.

Re: Glad that Tiller got in
Yep, when Tiller gets in the conference gets to see that ISU has another QB that does not belong in a BCS conference.

Re: Glad that Tiller got in
I think JT is going to have to make serious improvement to start next year. I hope he does, but if he doesn't, I'd rather look to the future and get someone else the reps.

Re: Glad that Tiller got in
I'm not going to give up on Tiller yet. Tiller has just as much practice and experience in this offense as Austin does. Tiller gets 1 extra year to learn the offense and hopefully improve on his skills.

I have very little faith in Tiller being a winning quarterback in Ames, in fact I have no idea if there is a Big 12 QB on ISU's roster at this point, I guess we will see.

I understand where you are coming from, but Tiller will have 3 years of practice in this offense and hopefully will improve. I think the QB battle will come down to Tiller and Barnett. Barnett will probably have an easier time learning this offense since this is what he played in high school, or something similar to it. I am not sure what Tiller's high school ran.

Do you think anyone other than our student section and a few morons on this board really think we are starting a less than adequate QB while we have a better option on the bench. By the way I don't think AA is less than adequate.
