Isn't that a sportscasters job? "Huh, Franklin has better stats than Reisner. Maybe I should google the list and make sure."

Sportcasters should first know who Franklin is, let alone know what his stats are. Unfortunately, it's a vicious cycle. If the media doesn't talk about the Cyclones, then people don't know who to keep track of. And because they don't keep track of them, they don't report on it.
