Blowout. Get the three pack out of the system and go back to work. Key up for the Creighton game.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -
Re: Is this serious?
This might be the first time any BCS team has said "rally the fans Iowa state is coming to town"

Post count is the key to your status. In-game threads and recruiting day threads are usually the greatest places to bump your post count easily. Also, the occasional CF thread that turns into a monster (tom cruise, airplane on treadmill, old school friday threads)
Nice to see Texas is having to rally the fanbase. Hey, if UCLA can beat them, anything is possible for ISU tomorrow.

As per the OP, yes, Texas fans can be quite docile. Some will say it is from a feeling of entitlement but I dont think so because it has been pretty much the same since I was a kid through good times and bad. It isnt the T-shirt fans that are the issue, it's the season ticket holders. Even though we are talking about almost twice the population of Ames to fill the stadium, Mack knows they will sell tickets, he just wants everyone to show up and make noise. I think that is why they rushed to retire Colt's jersey number (I know, I know... I hate it too) during the Baylor game now that Texas has two losses; another ploy to entice ticket holders to show up.

. Serious question here:
Do you think fans and boosters will start pushing for Mack Browns retirement if Texas loses any more games this year? If they lose to Oky State and/or ATM at home I could see the fanbase being up in arms and wanting to start a new era.
Thoughts?

Thoughts? no... not at all. Of course that is just my opinion but I think he is a great "face" for the program. (albeit, not a purtty face LOL the 'stache is a nice touch haha)
I think he is way too loyal to his assistants and coordinators, esp on the offensive side of the ball. The OL coach should have been gone years ago, as well as the strength and conditioning "coach." The OC, Gregg Davis, is always on the hot seat with the alum/fans and probably less with more than virtually any coach in the country. The running back game has sucked and there is a clambering for Major Applewhite to move to QBs coach instead of Running back coach. Mack has made quite a few changes to the defensive side of the ball including demoting the DC but he has not made similar shakeups on the offensive side of the ball over the years.
