Just curious.... was Chizdik recruiting him while he was at ISU? I dont normally like to play the, 'what if' game, but do you think he would have come to ISU if Chizdik didnt bolt for Auburn?

Nope. He was at florida until the end of the first semester in 08. He then spent the 09 season at Blinn in TX. Chiz was gone from here before he couldve known to go after him.

Chizik is a good coach. He surrounded himself by terrible assistants here, and he knew it before he bolted for Auburn by demoting his coordinators. He learned from his mistakes by surrounding himself with great coordinators at Auburn.
