Changed the game for us. That 75 yard punt was one of the most important plays in the game IMO, completely changed field position. We are going to be solid in the punt game for the next 3 years. The kicking game is so important. This staff's attitude about the kicking game is the right one. Not just that it shouldn't lose you a game, but it can be pivotal in winning games. Give scholarships if you must but be solid in the kicking game.

That 75-yarder was brilliant. He also had those other two that went out at the 10 ... nice angling out of bounds in those situations — a big punt return could've swung the Mo at any time.

I almost wanted him to do a fake punt on the series after the onside kick & failed flea-flicker.

His punt they got the huge return on is the only one I'll complain about. I don't care if you can kick it 55 yards, I'd rather have a 48 yard punt with our guys standing on top of the returner when he catches it than 55 yards and room to operate.

He isn't hitting a lob wedge, he's kicking a football. Kick it as far as possible with decent hang time and it is the coverage teams responsibility to cover it and not give up the big return. Can't blame that on the punter IMO, that ball had plenty of hang time and we missed a couple of tackles/took some bad angles.
