Well deserved. He was getting held the whole game so it made his job much more difficult.

Amazing how good a defense can look when your front 4 can get pressure.

How many Cyclone fans thought for one second that an ISU player on the D-Line would ever receive a BIXII player of the week honor this year? And of all games, against TX?

It's as I've said before, we have the potential to be great. We just arn't good at it. I should say we aren't CONSISTENT at it. But consistency comes with time... and hard work. As of right now, I have a man-crush on CPR.

Well deserved.
The physicality of the whole D (actually, the whole team) was great.
The whole secondary (especially Benton) was very physical.
The one long punt return UT had, Benton hustled the whole way back to make the tackle & prevent it from being even longer.
Watching the game again, numerous times we'd be gang tacking the ball carrier, & Lattimer would be flying in to help finish, or flying over the pile after the tackle was made. Didn't matter if it was a run up the middle or 20 yards down field on a pass to the WR. Lattimer seemed to be in the picture a lot.
I believe this type of play to be contagious & the best things he displays. Tenacity - never gives up.

You are correct. I admit to being one of the people critical of our Defense, especially the line. I'm glad to be proven wrong.
