Re: New scoreboard
Why not bring in some dirt and make the south endzone all hill. We could put a big I-state like mizzou has the M. It could be a temporary thing until we do the real thing plus it could look decent. Idk just a thought.

Watching the Replays of the 1999 Texas game, it reminded me of how far we have actually come. I am excited to see how far we will have come in another 10 years too -Paul Rhoads Family Stadium is going to be something to be damn proud of and Dan McCarney concourse will also be pretty special - no doubt about that!
I hope you are joking.

Re: New scoreboard
Changing post after reviewing Jack Trice History, I am sorry if I offended anyone with making the reference of Paul Rhoads Family Stadium to Bill Snyder Family Stadium, wasn't intending to be insensitive. I do recall the effort in 1997 to change the name and I am happy for the group of organizers that got it done even though as a student I really didn't know what the issues were.

The field level is significantly lower than the South gate. It's just easy to forget because the South bleachers cover up that fact and you have to walk uphill to get to the 2 concourses. This would have also been a major concern during the flooding had the water made it to the side of the Jacobson, the field is dug into a bowl as well as the stands having been built on a hill.

Yeah what I meant was take out the south bleachers for now, build up the hill closer so it "bowls in" the south. Its probably pretty crazy but could be a good temp thing to make everything feel closer to the field before we do it right.

I think it would probably be needed eventually anyway because if you wrap the lower deck around you would have to come closer than the current 'earth bowl' or the seats would be a long way away from the field.

So then you're either letterboxing the small board, or limiting your HD board's frame width in order to fit the picture to the small board.
