Hill Ticket Promotion a Success
Great work by the Athletic Department to get people into the stadium. The hills (on the west side at least) were the fullest I have seen them for a game that does not involve UNI, Iowa, or Nebby.
Anyone catch an official attendance number by any chance?

I heard 46,xxx announced on the radio.
If we can't get 52-53k for next week, I don't know what will.

Re: Hill Ticket Promotion a Success
Agreed. Hillsides were packed. The whole stadium was REALLY full! Idk what the attendance was, but I'd guess 50,000+
Great job cyclone fans! Get to the game next week!!!

It certainly looked bigger than the announced, even the corners looked full-ish today.

Re: Hill Ticket Promotion a Success
We moved up into the SW corner about 5 minutes after the start, and people kept moving up from the hillsides. My 8 & 10 year old boys had a blast today.

The center seats on the east side lower level were awfully empty.

Maybe the ushers could go get people from the hills after the first quarter and offer those seat to them. Free upgrade to first class!

I was worried at first, but it filled up nicely and the hills looked packed. I was expecting 49/50. This isn't the first time this year I've though announced attendance looked lower than the number actually in the stadium. It's strange.
KU didn't bring many though. And attendance in the middle sections in the lower bowl is always embarrassing.

KU brought all of 17 people so that didnt help. Honestly I think our attendance numbers being lower than expected this year is because the visiting teams are not bringing a lot of fans with them...

Most of the stadium is fill, most of the seats are filled except in the wasteland of the visitor section. Even in the corners, while there are some empty seats up there, they are not has empty as we have seen them in previous years. I would say that, we fill 95% of the stadium seats if you exclude the visitor section.

Re: Hill Ticket Promotion a Success
I honestly think they have no ******* clue what the actual attendance is.
JTS was more full today than it was for the UNI game. That was obvious to the naked eye. Yet announced attendance was 2,000 less. Doesn't make sense.

Seriously, the east side lower center section was probably only 80% full, and thats being generous.
