What if Baylor & ISU switched Scheudles?
I don’t know if this has been posted in a thread and I know you can’t do this but what if Baylor and ISU had traded schedules – would ISU be ranked and Baylor not? Baylor’s record is 7-2 with losses to TCU and TT. ISU would have the same record if we played : Sam Houston State (AA) 4-4, KU 2-6, UT 4-4, Buffalo 2-6, TT 4-4, TCU 9-0, CU 3-5, Rice 2-6, KSU 5-3 – Opponents Overall Record = 35-38. I know ISU has one of the toughest schedules in the nation and it shows - ISU’s opponents Overall Record = 48-25. I guess what it comes down to is it wouldn’t matter who had a 7-2 record against that competition they probably should not be ranked. -

Kind of shows you why we should not be playing non-conference games against Utah, UCONN or any other decent teams not named Iowa. Thank god we got out of the Utah game next year.

The back half of the schedule is much tougher for Baylor. They probably finish 8-4 and are either barely in the top 25 or just out of it, so I wouldn't sweat it too much. Besides, let Baylor celebrate a little, they're usually worse than us.
