Re: Nebraska Fans ....?
I'm embarrassed to say that I too was once a husker fan. I grew up in Nebraska but earned my degree from Iowa State. After graduating I moved back to Nebraska. Having spent 4 years with rational Cyclone fans made me realize what jerkasses most Husker fans are. It turns out that any time an opponent moves the ball against the blackshirts, there wasn't a missed holding call. Refs make bad calls against both teams in a game and are not just out to get the big red. The 'best fans in the country' are condescending. The majority of husker football fans are bandwagoners. Ask a husker football fan who their favorite college bball team is and you will get a lot of tarheels, duke, kentucky, etc. answers.
Also, you chose to leave the Big 12 so quit complaining about how tough your football schedule looks next year. It turns out when you beg to join a conference and they accept you, you have to play the other teams in that conference.

Re: Nebraska Fans ....?
This thread is hilarious. Clones_85 just called and pointed it out to me. I didn't see it until now. Me, a Husker fan? HAHA. Hardly. I always say that I have two favorite teams. The Clones, and who Nebraska is playing on that day.
I've talked about this on KXNO before but I did grow up in a Hawk family. Not kidding. But I came to college here, my best friend played football here and every person in my family is now Clone to the bone, season ticket holders and supporters of Iowa State athletics.
Considering I have dedicated my entire career to covering and promoting Iowa State athletics, it is pretty obvious where I stand now.
Good stuff by the OP though. No clue who it is but considering this is Iowa State - Nebraska week, nothing surprises me.
