Advice from Mizzou?

I got to thinking on my way home from work tonight... on the eve of the eve of our final and hopefully momentous tilt with Nebraska on the gridiron...

I'm thinking that all of the other schools in the Big 12 will be rooting for us - particularly Mizzou. That should make for some good karma right there!

And given that Mizzou has so much to gain with an I-State victory wouldn't they want to give us advice especially since they just got done playing Nebraska last Saturday? It would sure seem beneficial to hear from them on the topic of what they would do if they had to do it over again.

Does this kind of thing ever happen between coaching staffs or is it just not done or even against the rules to get direct advice? Because our upcoming game would seem to be the perfect scenario for such advice being so beneficial to both teams.

Please excuse me if this is a stupid question. I just thought this would be the place to ask.

Yeah, you'd think it would behoove Mizzou to send a task force of coaches over to Ames for the week to help us prepare.
